Council’s Donations Program is open for applications from not-for-profit groups and organisations that have significant local membership or participation, and/or are undertaking a project that shows significant local benefit. The maximum donation per financial year under this program is $2000.
Staff will assess applications against the eligibility requirements and assessment criteria of this program. Staff then make recommendations for the consideration of the elected Council.
Council will invite applications for financial assistance during May or June each year as part of its Annual Donations program. Council will consider these applications during August.
Applications are welcome at other times throughout the year. In 2021, Council will consider these according to the timetable below.

Applications must be accompanied by a number of documents, including evidence of non-for-profit status and a Certificate of Currency from your insurers certifying a minimum of $20 million public liability coverage.
Once you have determined that you are eligible and have the associated documents, you may apply online. You'll need to upload electronic versions of the required documentation in order to complete your application.
