Our Community Strategic Plan 2022-2032(PDF, 8MB) guides the future direction of Lake Macquarie City for the next 10 years. It shares the vision and aspirations for the future of Lake Macquarie and sets out the community’s long-term plan.
The plan is Council's key strategic planning document and was developed in collaboration with our community. It maps out the strategies we will undertake to achieve our community’s long-term vision for the city.
The plan is reviewed every four years, following an election.
The new Community Strategic Plan 2025-2035(PDF, 3MB) was endorsed by Council on 24 February 2025. It will come into effect on 1 July 2025.
