The Lake Mac Community Environment Grants Program, formerly known as Environmental Sustainability Grants Program, is designed to support community-initiated projects that improve our local environment or inspire environmentally sustainable behaviour in Lake Macquarie City.
Not-for-profit community organisations are eligible to apply including school Parent and Citizen groups, community based pre-schools, service clubs, bush regeneration or conservation groups and Sustainable Neighbourhood Groups. Grants of up to $5000 per application are available for projects located in Lake Macquarie City. The number of grant applications funded per round is limited. These grants are offered twice a year.
