Arts, culture and literacy

Engaging and interactive arts, culture and literacy programs are available for all ages, preschool to Year 12, through Lake Mac Libraries and the Museum of Art and Culture (MAC)

Our programs teach kids of all ages how to stay safe in the water

School tours

We offer tours of our Council Chambers, Lake Mac Libraries, Museum of Art and Culture, and Organics Resource Recovery Facility for interested school groups

You're Kidding Me

The You're Kidding Me program is designed to improve accessibility to health, education and family services for kids by connecting Lake Macquarie families to valuable information about local services that support the learning and development of young children
