Would you like to undertake a traineeship, apprenticeship or cadetship with Council?

Council’s Education to Employment (E2E) program will allow you to develop skills and gain valuable on-the-job experience while studying for a formal qualification. We’ll support you by paying for your course fees, providing paid study leave while receiving on-the-job expert mentoring by skilled professionals and teams.

The E2E program is a key component of Council’s Workforce Management Strategy, and allows us to offer a greater variety of job opportunities within our local community.

We offer cadetships as well as nationally recognised apprenticeships and traineeships in a variety of study areas including engineering, mechanical, painting, horticulture, sports ground and turf management, civil construction, warehousing, metal fabrication, boiler making, customer service, finance, human resources, tourism, project management and administration.
