Lake Macquarie & District Historical Society Incorporated

In Person: Open Wednesdays 10am to 3pm at Toronto Heritage Railway Station down the steps or ramp from the Victory Parade bus stop at the Toronto end of the greenway from Fassifern Station.

Set into a cutting in the hill in Toronto Foreshore Park this historic building now archives historic photos and documents, local memorabilia and many stories yet to be told.

Catherine Hill Bay Progress Association & Dune Care Inc.

The Association is committed to protecting the Cultural Precinct of the State Listed Heritage Township of Catherine Hill Bay. The heritage villages played a key role in the development of Australian natural resources in the 19th century, having strong associations with coal mining, organised labour and early maritime industry in NSW.

West Wallsend District Heritage Group Inc

WWDHG is a volunteer organisation that preserves and interprets the history of ‘Westy’ from Holmesville to Minmi.

We are enthusiastic about our rich heritage being recorded and preserved.

Our group operates most Wednesdays 10am to 2pm at Sugar Valley Library Museum.  We welcome visitors, inquiries and new members.
