Some of our services are taking a short break over Christmas and the New Year. There are no waste, recycling and green waste collections on Christmas Day. All waste collections between Wednesday 25-Friday 27 December will occur a day later than usual.

The Association is committed to protecting the Cultural Precinct of the State Listed Heritage Township of Catherine Hill Bay. The heritage villages played a key role in the development of Australian natural resources in the 19th century, having strong associations with coal mining, organised labour and early maritime industry in NSW.

WWDHG is a volunteer organisation that preserves and interprets the history of ‘Westy’ from Holmesville to Minmi.
We are enthusiastic about our rich heritage being recorded and preserved.
Our group operates most Wednesdays 10am to 2pm at Sugar Valley Library Museum. We welcome visitors, inquiries and new members.
