Our Customer Service Centre is temporarily located at Speers Point Library, opposite Council's Administration Building.
The toddler playground will be closed from Wednesday 25 June - Monday 30 June. The older children's playground, skate park and sports field will remain open.
This fenced playground is located next to Bernie Goodwin Oval on Newcastle Street.
On behalf of the Hunter and Central Coast Development Corporation, improvement works at Bernie Goodwin Oval Playground will begin Monday 16 June. Works will be delivered by B&K Revegetation and Landscaping, with project management provided by Engenicom.
This is part of NSW Government's Safer Cities Program and aims to improve feelings of safety in public spaces, particularly for young women and girls. This park was selected through consultation with the local community, due to its proximity to Morisset High School, transport, shops and sporting facilities.
Upgrades include social seating, hammocks, inlaid trampolines, landscaped gardens and trees. Construction is expected to finish in September 2025. Some areas of the park and carpark will be temporarily restricted.
