Sugar Valley Library Museum closure

Sugar Valley Library Museum, kirantakamyari will be temporarily closed to allow repair and maintenance to be undertaken on the facility’s air-conditioning system.
As the work will require the cooling system to be offline, a decision to close the facility until work is completed has been taken in the interests of the safety and comfort of patrons.
Work will continue until the scheduled Christmas closure date of Friday 22 December 2023, with the library expected to reopen on Tuesday 2 January 2024.
The following measures have been put in place:
- Loans will be extended to accommodate the closure period
- Library programs will be relocated where possible
- Customer reservations will be fulfilled from neighbouring libraries or alternative delivery options.
