March review of the 2021-2022 Operational Plan and Budget

Council will consider adopting amendments to the Operational Plan 2021-2022, receiving and noting the status of the Delivery Program 2017-2022, and adopting variations to the 2021-2022 budget.

Community Strategic Plan 2022-2023, Resourcing Strategy 2022-2032, and Delivery Program 2022-2026 incorporating the Operational Plan, budget and fees and charges 2022-2023

Council will consider adopting these documents and advising authors or external submissions and the Office of Local Government of its decision.

Investment Report

Council will consider receiving and noting a report identifying all money Council has invested under section 625 of the Local Government Act 1993.

Making the rate for 2022-2023

Council will consider making 2022-2023 rates and charges for ordinary rates, domestic waste management and commercial waste management changes, effluent charges, annual on-site sewage management system operational fees, overdue rates charges, and a special rate.

Adoption of section 7.11 Development Contributions Plan No.5 – North Wallarah

Council will consider repealing the Lake Macquarie Section 7.11 Contributions Plan No.5 – North Wallarah (2004), and adopting an amended 2021 plan.

Planning Proposal: Zone and building height amendments – former Pasminco site

Council will consider requesting a Gateway Determination from the Department of Planning and Environment in relation to the draft Planning Proposal for the site, and undertaking consultation with State Government agencies and service authorities in accordance with the Gateway Determination. Council will consider placing the draft Planning Proposal on exhibition, subject to the outcome of the Gateway Determination, and notifying stakeholders and affected landowners of the public exhibition period as required, after which a full report on the Planning Proposal shall be considered to be provided to Council.

Subdivision Security Payments Policy

Council will consider rescinding the current Subdivision Bonds and Guarantees Policy and adopting a Subdivision Security Payments Policy.

NAIDOC Week Grants 2022

Council will consider funding 22 applications, totalling $15,250, as part of the 2022 NAIDOC Week grant program.

Recommendations of the Traffic Facilities and Road Safety Committee – May 2022

Council will consider approving pedestrian refuge works at Brightwaters, a right turn treatment at an intersection in Cooranbong, and installation of a ‘No Parking’ area at Glendale.

West Ward site inspection – Yambo and Short streets, Morisset

Council will consider noting this report.

North Ward site inspection – 27 Government Road, Holmesville

Council will consider investigating drainage problems at 27 Government Road, Holmesville, as a matter of priority, and reporting to Councillors on options and costs to rectify the problems.
