Shared stories: Treasures of the Local Studies Collection

Dozens-day-Marie-Jeffrey-and-Michelle-Sulling.jpg

Discover the joys and sorrows of Lake Macquarie’s fascinating past in this new SEEN exhibition. Human experiences have been repeated throughout history.  Our forebears faced loss and mistakes and enjoyed success and celebrations just as we do. Treasures showcases never before exhibited and newly acquired objects and photographs from our Local Studies Collection.  The exhibition tells the stories of our shared experiences and connects us to our region’s past.
