Some of our services are taking a short break over Christmas and the New Year. There are no waste, recycling and green waste collections on Christmas Day. All waste collections between Wednesday 25-Friday 27 December will occur a day later than usual.
Our Customer Service Centre is temporarily located at Speers Point Library, adjacent to Council's Administration Building.
Beginning in 2004, the Branch Op Shop has grown in its premises and outreach to others. By recycling clothing and other goods, the Op Shop is able to assist those in need; indeed, sometimes in desperate circumstances. Donations of clothing; personal effects, jewelry, small electrical appliances; tools; some furniture; books and other odds and ends are welcome – please phone and arrange a suitable time to drop them in. In addition, the Op Shop uses proceeds to regularly assist local, national and international community organisations and individuals. Funding is also provided to help with emergencies (Drought, Flood, Fire etc.) in Australia
