Hunter Down Syndrome Support Group

Hunter Down Syndrome Support Group  Hunter Down SyndromeSupport Group is a voluntary group providing support for all individuals with Down syndrome, their families, and carers and friends in the Hunter Region NSW.  We have aprivate Facebook pagefor parents/carers who have a family member with Down syndrome which offers advice, support, and information from other parent/carers of someone with Down syndrome. We also have a public Facebook page: www.facebook.com/dshunterregioncommunity.  We support DS BowlingWarners Bay which is run once a month on a Friday evening at Super Strike Warners Bay. This is a social group for people age 10yrs + with Down syndrome. More information can be found on the facebook for DS Bowling Warners Bay  We also support Chance2Dance which is a dance school for young children - young adults with special needs. It is the only dance group in the region focused totally on people with special needs. The facebook page is Chance2Dance Australia Inc.
