Disability Advocacy NSW

Disability Advocacy NSW (DA) was established in 2006 with the aim of advocating for people with a disability. Disability Advocacy is funded to provide independent advocacy by the Commonwealth Department of Social Services (DSS) and NSW Department of Family and Community Services.  DA can provide short to medium term, non-legal, issue-based advocacy support to people with disability who have serious and urgent issues. Individual advocacy is essentially the process of standing up for the rights of someone who is being treated unfairly.  Disability Advocacy NSW has branches across NSW but you can always contact its Head Office in Newcastle, located at Suite 1 Level 2, 408 King St, Newcastle West NSW 2302, either through phone (1300 365 085 or 02 4927 0111) or email ([email protected])
