Coal Point Progress Association- Progress Hall

The Coal Point Progress Association (CPPA) was founded in 1946 and by 1951 the community bought some land and built Progress Hall. The CPPA has always worked for the betterment of the community. Funds received from hiring the hall assist in supporting our objectives which are; a) To enhance the natural environment of the Coal Point peninsula and surrounding areas by protecting, preserving and regenerating indigenous flora and fauna. b) To advance social welfare, community spirit and sustainability in the Coal Point and surrounding area through community education and engagement. The CPPA is a volunteer organisation and volunteers are always welcome to deliver the local newsletter, landcare on our local reserves, keep the wheels of progress running on the Committee, maintain Progress Hall.
