The Lake Mac Big Draw Marathon The Big Draw is the world’s biggest celebration of drawing. Every year people across the world join Big Draw events and in 2019 you can join in at Toronto Library The Lake Macquarie Big Draw Marathon is a fun weekend of drawing for families, adults and children aimed at highlighting the benefits of being creative to improve wellbeing. Drawing is often used for stress relief. Being present in the moment during a drawing session can be a feeling akin to meditation. Grow your brain! Did you know that when we draw, we use both sides of the brain? The left side is for logical thinking and the right side for creativity. As a result, our brains grow. Above all, drawing is fun, and should be enjoyed. Saturday Program: 2-4pm – Drop in Drawing Doodle to your heart’s content at our Drop-in drawing walls.
