Pelican jetty to receive a makeover

Refurbishment works at Pelican jetty will begin next week to create a safer area for fishing and will involve shortening the jetty while maintaining its existing ‘L’ shape structure.

I hope you can join me this Saturday from 9am at the official opening of the new Pelican Boat Ramp. It has taken a little more time than expected and some very hard work to get the project completed, but I am glad to say that it is a vast improvement on what was previously there. I am positive we will see a number of locals and visitors test out the ramp, which is now safer and more accessible.
