Spring Fair Market Stalls Wanted
Following the success of our inaugural Spring Fair in September 2018, the West Wallsend District Sustainable Neighbourhood Group (WWDSNG) is again running a Spring Fair in the Holmesville Community Garden on Saturday 14 September from 9:00am until 2:30pm. There will be stalls with craft, cheap plants, cakes and others, and a Repair Cafe to show visitors simple clothing repairs and tool sharpening. The adjacent Community Garden Hall will be open for refreshments and displays, the Barnsley Boys will again be providing live music, and a sausage sizzle will be provided by Wallsend/Maryland Rotary Club.
The Community Garden is located on a former tennis court located at the corner of George and Charlotte Street, Holmesville. The site has plenty of street parking and some off-street parking. We would like to involve as many organisations and businesses as possible, particularly those with a plant or sustainable living theme, or local to the area. There is no attendance fee for Groups and Societies, while the charge for commercial organisations is $10 per stall space. If you would like to reserve a stall space, please contact us at: firstname.lastname@example.org for details.
