Charlestown Library closure extended

New plug and play spaces and a refurbished Launchpad exhibition space, are just part of the works to create an event better customer experience for users of Charlestown Library. To complete these works the Library will remain closed until Monday 3 June.

Council’s Major Creative Projects Innovation Coordinator Jo Smith said the temporary closure has provided an opportunity to refine the service customer’s experience.

“In addition to the new plug and play options at the site and Launchpad exhibition space, we have taken this opportunity to rejuvenate and update our physical collection and improve browsing opportunities,” Ms Smith said.

“To ensure our customers receive the best possible experience and aren’t disrupted by these works, we have had to extend the temporary closure of this facility until Monday 3 June.”

Throughout the temporary closure, after hours return options are available at Belmont, Cardiff and Speers Point libraries.

Customers can also renew items online, contact other Library branches during operating hours or email lakelibraries@lakemac.nsw.gov.au. All eCollections will be available during the closure.
