You’re Kidding Me Expo the biggest child and family expo in the Hunter

Date posted: 29 April 2019

Local parenting and child-health experts provide personalised, free advice as part of Lake Macquarie City Council’s You’re Kidding Me Expo in May.

Council Manager Community Planning, Andrew Bryant, said the expo was the longest running event of its type in the Hunter.

“It brings together a diverse range of services, resources and programs for families in one convenient location,” Mr Bryant said

“This year’s expo will be of particular benefit to families seeking advice on their child’s health, development, speech and nutrition.

“Families will be able to interact with more than 50 local service providers, such as family support services, speech therapists, child development experts, sustainable baby products and access to NDIS services.

TAD services are a non-profit disability, technology provider and will be visiting the You’re Kidding Me Expo on the day to talk about the array of equipment they make.

Safe Travel Solutions will be offering free car seat restraint checks and there will be a dedicated parents’ room and kids’ entertainment area on site.
