Lake Macquarie residents are notified of upcoming fireworks displays:

Saturday 16 February

Location: Cams Wharf

Time: to take place between 8-9.30pm

Saturday 16 February

Location: Redhead Beach

Time: to take place between 8.30-9.30pm

While we all love fireworks, it can be a traumatic time for pets.

For those going out, it's worth considering bringing pets inside before you leave - a frightened pet can not only leap fences but can also injure itself when trying to escape.

It is important that pets are identified and registered.
