An endless summer of fun at Lake Mac Swim Centres

Date posted: 5 February 2019

Enjoy an afternoon of live music and summer fun at Charlestown Swim Centre on Sunday 17 February, when Endless Summer returns.

Hosted by Lake Macquarie Youth Advisory Council (LMYAC) and Lake Macquarie City Council, this fun-in-the-sun youth festival is a popular day out for teens.

Chairperson of LMYAC, Elise Newling, said the day is a relaxed opportunity for young people to get out and enjoy the warm weather with live music and activities at the pool.

“We want young people to take some time to chill out, have fun and celebrate the awesome place we all live in,” Ms Newling said.

Entry to Charlestown Swim Centre is free for the first 50 people aged 12-24 years.

The event runs from 11am-4pm and features a number of free activities including live music by young local artists, games, prizes and giveaways, and festivalgoers can challenge themselves on the inflatable obstacle course.

“Come along and join the party, and remember to bring your towel, sunscreen and a hat,” Ms Newling said.

Visit the Facebook event page to register your interest.

Charlestown Swim Centre is located at Dickinson Street, Charlestown.
