Speers Point Park

The Real Film Festival is here again this Saturday. With a free outdoor screening of Cool Runnings. Also, enjoy what's on offer with a jumping castle, food stalls, face painting and a petting zoo!

Junior Bands in the Park

Saturday 27 October, 9.30-11am

Warners Bay foreshore

The Hunter Regional Band Association is presenting junior bands in the park this Saturday. With two bands playing, Newcastle PCYC Brass Band and Catalina Brass, make sure you come along and enjoy this free concert alongside our beautiful Lake.

Super Street Sale

Wimbledon Grove, Garden Suburb

This weekend at Speers Point there will be a Super Street Sale, along Wimbledon Grove where three houses will host one big garage sale along there street. Just a few of the items for sale include kids toys, dining room table, chairs, TV unit, book cabinet, coffee table, DVDs, artwork, curtains and blinds, king size doona covers, tools, home brew kit, and many other household items.

STEEL: art design architecture

Lake Macquarie Art Gallery

This diverse exhibition explores new ways steel is used by artists, designers and architects in Australia in the 21st century. Curated by JamFactory’s Senior Curator, Margaret Hancock Davis, the exhibition includes 29 artists, designers and architects from across Australia.
