Date posted: 13 April 2018
We have everything you need to keep the kids occupied these school holidays, with a range of fun activities happening throughout the April break at Lake Mac Libraries, the Lake Macquarie City Art Gallery and Lake Mac Swim Centres.
Here’s just a small slice of what’s on offer:
- Every Sunday, children can enjoy some self-directed art activities while engaging with the current exhibitions at the art-making space. This is a free event with no bookings needed.
- From Monday 16 to Friday 20 April, children aged three and over will have the opportunity to gain confidence in the water with our intensive swimming program, with lessons available for beginners to transition level. Bookings are essential.
- Discover fascinating facts of bizarre creatures that make up the world of spiders and insects at Charlestown Library on Friday 20 April. Bookings are essential. Book online at library.lakemac.com.au.
- Don’t forget to join us for a special story time with author Ant Wood, as he reads his books Flaming Charli and Dancing Charli. Everyone will make his or her own cockatoo to take home. Sessions are at 10.30am and 11.30am
