Are you a community organisation looking for a new space in 2018? Lake Macquarie City Council has an exciting opportunity for a non-for-profit organisation to lease a modern community space located at the Pasterfield Sports Complex in Cameron Park.
Council’s Acting Manager Community Planning, Wes Hain, said it is a wonderful opportunity for a community organisation to manage the use of the new centre.
“It will allow a community organisation to open services in the expanding suburb of Cameron Park and have close working relationships with the local community and sporting codes,” Mr Hain said.
The community space features a commercial kitchen, reception area, multiple meeting spaces and an event space. It also has storage areas, a wide balcony and large car park. The complex caters for a variety of sports including netball, basketball, football codes, cricket and more.”
The community facility is located within a new sporting recreation complex and is set for completion in August 2018.
A subsidised leased will be negotiated for the centre under Council’s Lease Equity Model. Community organisations can find out more or download the Information Package and Application Form.
Applications close 22 December 2017.
