Parade route and timetable

The parade of illuminated boats will make their way along the western side of the Lake on Friday night and the eastern side the following evening. Here are the best spots to catch the action.

The fun does not end on the water, with foreshore activities taking place at Toronto on the Friday night and Warners Bay on the Saturday.

Toronto Foreshore

Friday 28 June, 5.30–8.30pm

Bring your picnic blanket, find a grassy spot and enjoy a night of lights, music, food and entertainment including performances from Circus Avalon.

Warners Bay Foreshore

Saturday 29 June, 10am-3pm and 5-8pm

The festival begins from 10am with market stalls and entertainment. From 5pm enjoy a night of live music, entertainment (including awesome LED hula-hoop and fire show), delicious gourmet food vans and specialty stalls.

Illuminated costume workshop - available at each live site

Children will get to make their own illuminated firefly costume and join the fantastic firefly performers in a parade around the foreshore. They will learn about fireflies in the local area and be able to take home the firefly costume they make. Project led by Deep Sea Astronauts.

On the water

Take prime position to view the lights with a two-hour dinner cruise on Friday and Saturday night. Departing Booragul Public Wharf 6pm. Adults $49pp/Children $35pp. Tickets availble from Lake Macquarie Cruises.
