Making a submission

If you consider you may be affected by a development, you can make a public submission to Council.

Online

You can view a list of applications currently on notification, along with the information that has been submitted with the application. Council reserves the right to remove content that contains offensive, explicit or inappropriate material that may cause harm to individuals.

Once you have viewed this information, you may wish to make a submission to Council objecting to, or supporting the proposal.

Step 1.Things to consider

  • Any submission you make will be made publicly available on Council's website - this may include your personal information.
  • In order for your submission to be considered, it must be made within the notification period of the application.
  • Your submission should specify whether you object or support the proposed development, and provide reasons to substantiate your submission.
  • Due to the high level of submissions we receive, Council cannot provide individually written responses to matters raised by submitters.
  • You have the right to make an anonymous submission. Learn more here.
