The Windale Hub, home to Windale Library, will be a high-tech facility featuring flexible social spaces and library functions. Designed as Windale’s community lounge room, it will provide a safe, relaxing and welcoming space for people to come together to learn and create.

A place for our community to gather, learn, connect and celebrate creativity.

Features include a range of adaptable community spaces including, a large community hall and an activity room for gatherings and functions, as well as ‘maker-space’ activities, smaller sound-proof meeting rooms for use as a recording studio, and several office and co-working spaces.

Built on the former Windale Community Hall and Windale Library sites, the history of the area will be subtly woven into the facility’s new-look.

The development application for the Windale Hub is under assessment. Pending approval, we anticipate construction will begin in mid-2021.
