We are constructing three new skate parks across the City at Thomas H Halton Park at Croudace Bay, Bahloo Reserve at Windale and Bernie Goodwin Memorial Park at Morisset.

The skate parks were designed in consultation with the community.

Bahloo Reserve, Windale

We are constructing a new skate park at Bahloo Reserve, Windale. The skate park is expected to double the size of the former skate park near the suburb’s PCYC.

Construction is underway and expected to be completed by the end of July 2021, weather permitting.

The works will the construction of:

  • flow skate park suitable for all skill levels and disciplines, with the focus on flow with some trick elements
  • new playground
  • new accessible and ambulant toilet block
  • seating
  • footpaths and landscaping

Bernie Goodwin Memorial Park, Morisset

We are constructing a new skate park at Bernie Goodwin Memorial Park next to the new playground and outdoor fitness area.

Due to change to our scheduling, works on the skate park will begin in late June 2021 and are expected to be completed by late September 2021, weather permitting. 

Works will include:
  • park style skate park featuring quarter pipes, flatbanks, hubba and outledge, rails, and a minibowl
  • construction of a bespoke shelter
  • footpaths and landscaping

Thomas H Halton Park, Croudace Bay

The new skate park at Croudace Bay is envisioned as part of a revamp for Thomas H Halton Park.

Construction is underway and expected to be completed by the end of May 2021, weather permitting.

Works will include:

  • street plaza skate park featuring a quarter pipe, flatbanks, hubbas, downrails and manual pad
  • construction of a bespoke shelter
  • footpaths and landscaping
