You can apply for access to building and development information under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009.
Council has an online Application Tracking tool that enables documentation to be accessed online for development applications and construction certificates.
Please note only limited information is available online for applications submitted prior to 15 March 2004.
Council has a range of open access information already available to the public. If you are unsure whether a formal access application needs to be submitted, please contact our Customer Service Centre, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, on 4921 0333 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss your enquiry.
If your require access to internal floor plans or Building Certificates, and you are not the owner of the property, you will need to have written consent of all the registered owners or you can submit a formal access application and third party consultation will be carried out.
When applying for access to building and development information, the following should be noted:
Payment of any photocopying charges is required prior to Council releasing the requested documentation.

The documentation can be released to you electronically via email.
A photocopying fee will be charged for all photocopying. Charges apply as per Council's Pricing Policy.
