Thank you Gina

Gina, provides service with a smile, and the occasional Cupid’s arrow

Gina Milne is a long-term resident of Lake Macquarie and has been working for our community for over 40 years. If you’ve ever required help at our Administration Building, you might have seen her friendly face. Gina’s role is to connect the dots, giving residents the information they need, always with a smile.

She started at Lake Macquarie City Council in 1981 and goes above and beyond every day to make Lake Mac a more inclusive city, providing translations to those from a non-English speaking background. But that’s not all.

“I have been a successful matchmaker, bringing together three marriages for people within the community. When I meet a new person, I ask them their relationship status and if I know someone suitable I’ll connect them… call me Cupid!”

Her willingness to help customers and her friendly, humble nature makes her an asset to our community. “My mission is to put a smile on my customers faces and I try to help them as much as I can”.

She loves living and working in the heart of Lake Macquarie. “I love the easy, relaxed feel of Lake Mac. We are so lucky to be living in such a beautiful area where everyone cares for the community.”
