Join Backyard Habitat for Wildlife

Across our city, native animals become dependent on our backyards to survive when their own habitat is lost or damaged.

Whether you live in a house, unit or apartment, by allowing your backyard to become a habitat garden, you are helping local wildlife. Creating a wildlife-friendly habitat is easy and could be as little as building a birdbath, providing hollow shelter or planting native shrubs.

The Backyard Habitat for Wildlife program is free to join and provides and opportunity for you to help ensure the survival of local wildlife.
