Meet the MAC yapang Curator Courtney Wagner

Courtney Wagner is Curator and Operations Co-ordinator of Lake Macquarie's Museum of Art and Culture yapang. In this informal event Courtney will be chatting about her background, her experiences in the arts, her philosophy as a curator, what things she has planned for upcoming exhibitions at MAC yapang, and other personal insights come up during the conversation.

Meet the Curator is brought to you by the MAC Society, as part of our public Second Saturday program. As usual, the presentation at 10:00–11:00am will be a relaxed, meet-the-guest chat rather than a lecture, and will be followed by a social half hour until 11:30am, when attendees can have one-on-one time with Courtney and with fellow attendees, over hot and cold beverages and biscuits.

About MAC Society and Second Saturdays

MAC Society is a volunteer, not-for-profit association promoting art and culture in our community, and fundraising to support acquisition of artworks for MAC, yapang. We gratefully acknowledge that our presenters generously contribute their time to support our events. With Eventbrite, our modest ticket fees cover basic expenses for our Second Saturday events; any residual funds go to supporting acquisition of artworks for MAC yapang.

MAC Society members have free admission to our Second Saturday events, while admission for Lake Mac Arts members is $5.00 and general admission is $8.00.

Please remember that every attendee needs to register on Eventbrite, even those with free admission, so we have accurate advance information for seating, catering and other planning requirements.
