Women in Sport Festival

 The Lake Mac Women in Sport Festival is designed to

• Celebrate the athletic excellence of local and national professional, and amateur sportswomen.
• Increase awareness of the health and social benefits of taking up sport and exercise.
• Encourage more women and girls to remain active throughout their different life stages.
• Provide the opportunity to try out a wide range of sports and engage with local sporting groups, and organisations.
• Educate all members of the community about the positive impact sport can have on women's personal and professional lives, particularly in regard to empowerment and confidence.

This annual inclusive festival offers something for everyone, with an extensive program that caters to sporting newcomers, aspiring professional athletes, coaches, administrators and anyone who wants to challenge themselves and take on a new sport.

We encourage fathers, sons, brothers, partners, husbands and friends to get behind their mothers, daughters, sisters, partners, wives and share the festival experiences with them.

The Women in Sport Festival is scheduled for March 2 -10 2024.
