The night will feature kids activities along with yummy food trucks and specialised boutique Christmas market stalls from Homegrown Markets. Entertainment from Lake Mac community groups will also be on offer at the Community stage at MAP from 3pm – 5:30pm. Gates will officially open from 2pm.

The main stage entertainment kicks off at 5:45pm with local children’s group The Quokkas. Local band Uptown will be the house band for the night fronted by a selection of local feature singers including Eve Boyle, Terrance Wakewood, Kazzie, Tim Harding, Komiti and Kylie Jane. Kirsty Lee Akers and her band will headline the night with all singers joining together on stage for the finale. Kirsty was recently seen on The Block and is from Wangi Wangi! Be sure to look to the skies for a very special appearance by Santa at 7pm!

The Australian Dance & Talent Centre will showcase their fabulous dancers throughout the program.

There will be free Wi-Fi available in the park to sing-a-long to the Carols with our online songbook.

Nick, Jess and Ducko from hit106.9FM will be the MC’s for the event.

Lake Mac Ferry will be running return ferry tickets from Belmont and Toronto to Speers Point for Carols this year. Bookings are essential. View timetable below.

To make Lake Mac events more inclusive and accessible Council has adopted the IncludingYOU tent. The tent was an initiative of the Ability Links program auspice by Vinnies to support people in the community living with a disability, their families and carers to participate in large events.

The IncludingYOU tent will be located next to Council’s Information tent and has on offer a  range of equipment including  weighted blankets, books, sensory toys, noise cancelling head phones to use at no cost. It also offers  a place to retreat from the noisy and busy environment. For some people the crowds and noise can be overwhelming, so having the opportunity to recharge can improve the experience and also the length of time people living with disabilities are able to attend the event.
