Some of our services are taking a short break over Christmas and the New Year. There are no waste, recycling and green waste collections on Christmas Day. All waste collections between Wednesday 25-Friday 27 December will occur a day later than usual.
Our Customer Service Centre is temporarily located at Speers Point Library, adjacent to Council's Administration Building.
Hosted by the Combined Rotary Clubs of Lake Macquarie and in association with Lake Macquarie City Council, the third Lake Mac Autumn Fair will be held on Saturday 6th May at Speers Point Park from 9am to 4pm.
This FREE family fun day will feature games such as Coconut Shy, Quoits and Toss the Dunny roll. There will be a bouncing castle, giant slide, train & pony rides, a petting zoo and a classic car display. The Police, RFS & Marine Rescue will also be in attendance. There will be boat rides and loads of market stalls & food with non-stop entertainment.
Money raised supports Rotary charity projects.
So bring the whole family along and soak up that carnival atmosphere.
