You might know Glenrock, but here's your chance to rediscover it.
Join the experts from Geotrail & Nature Tours for a trek through Glenrock, and soak up insights about the history, geology, flora and fauna of this beloved site.
After meeting at the top of the Yeularbah Track, you will walk to Leichardt's Lookout, and down the steps of the Great Northern Walk into the rainforest.
The topography is varied, with large steps in part and you may cover up to 5km. Moderate fitness is required.
Important participant requirements:
- This event is for people aged 8+ years and over. Children under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult.
- All attendees at the event require a ticket.
- Please wear fully enclosed footwear, hat, sunscreen, and bring snacks and plenty of drinking water. Note that there are no facilities (toilets, water stations etc) on the walk.
- This free event is for Lake Macquarie City residents. Others may be waitlisted.
