Float Your Boat 2025

We lit up the lake

The 2025 Float Your Boat festival was held on Friday 20 and Saturday 21 June 2025. Over two nights Lake Macquarie’s iconic fluorescent flotilla brightened local shores and spirits. In a rainbow of colour the flotilla parade cruised down both sides of the lake with the boats entered vying for the Mayor’s Choice Award and Newcastle Permanent People’s Choice Award for best light display.
