Camera quest adventure - walk and shoot in Awabakal Nature Reserve

Join a National Parks and Wildlife Service Ranger on a Camera Quest Adventure through Awabakal Nature Reserve in Dudley. Come armed with a camera (or even a parent's phone!) and sense of adventure as you meander through the park to view Newcastle’s spectacular coastline.

Geared towards primary school children and their families, this session invites participants to experience the environment through the eyes of a photographer, and capture images of flowers and animals along the journey. Surfaces are varied, moderate fitness required.

Important participant requirements:

- This event is for people aged 5+ years and over. Children under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult

- All attendees at the event require a ticket (even guardians)

- Please wear fully enclosed footwear, hat, sunscreen, and bring snacks and plenty of drinking water

- Please provide your mobile number so we can SMS you with an event reminder and/or advise of cancellation. We won't use your number for any other purpose.

- This free event is for Lake Macquarie City residents. Others may be waitlisted.
