Some of our services are taking a short break over Christmas and the New Year. There are no waste, recycling and green waste collections on Christmas Day. All waste collections between Wednesday 25-Friday 27 December will occur a day later than usual.
Our Customer Service Centre is temporarily located at Speers Point Library, adjacent to Council's Administration Building.
Newcastle Backgammon Club provides an outlet for people of all ages to learn and play the game in a competitive and friendly setting at minimal cost. Club Championship, Junior Championship (for players under 18) and an Annual Open Tournament are features of the club´s activities. 2019 year at Charlestown Bowling Club begins on Friday, January 11th. 6.45 registration for 7:15 start.
