Book Club Kits

Ever wanted to start a book club? Have an existing club, but don't want to buy 10 copies of a book? Lake Macquarie City Library has Book Club Kits that provide everything your group needs to start discussions.

Each Book Club Kit contains 10 copies of a title and may also include:

  • the title in DVD;
  • an audio book; or
  • large print format.

How does it work?

  • Reserve a Book Club Kit by phoning 4921 0447 or calling into a Lake Macquarie City Library.
  • The fee per kit is $9.00
  • All contents must be borrowed and returned together.
  • The library member who borrows the kit is responsible for its return. Any missing or damaged items will be charged at replacement cost.
  • The loan period is 6 weeks.
  • The kit needs to be returned to the library during opening hours. It cannot be returned through the after hours returns chute.
