Council has obtained a bulk discount of between $400 and $900 from three local solar hot water suppliers on a range of solar hot water systems for Lake Macquarie residents. This discount is available on top of government rebates of $1300.

How do I benefit from the discount and rebates?

  1. Browse the different system options outlined below and consider the key features of each option
  2. Call the hotline number given next to the system option you are most interested in to find out details like
    • System size options specific to your needs
    • Boosting options (for example if you have gas available to your house you might wish to obtain a quote for a gas boosted system due to it being the more environmentally friendly boost option)
    • A suitable quote time for you
    • If any extras need to be factored in to the quote (two storey installations or tank relocations for example)
  3. IMPORTANT! When calling the hotline number, tell them you are calling about the ‘Hot Water Cool Price’ deal to benefit from the negotiated discount. If you don’t make it clear that you are calling as part of this program you will receive a quote that does not include the discount!
  4. As this is a limited deal offered by the suppliers, please accept the quote as soon as possible.
