Skate Parks
Council has an active skate park development program which aims to provide local facilities for skaters of beginner to intermediate skill levels.
Skate parks are specially designed to cater for skateboard riders and in-line skaters. Beginners as well as skilled riders, are equally entitled to use the ramps. Skate parks are not an appropriate place for toddlers using mini-bikes or toy riders. Users of the facilities do so at their own risk.
Skate facilities are self managed and Council encourages users to get together and look after the facilities.
