Tattoos and Piercings
Council regulates skin penetration activities, such as tattoos and piercings, that are not carried out by registered health care professionals.
Council Environmental Health Officers undertake regular health inspections on these types of premises to ensure the health and safety of the community is maintained.
If you are constructing or fitting-out a skin penetration premises it is recommended you consider the guidelines for the Construction and Operation of Hairdressing, Beauty and Skin Penetration Premises and discuss the application with Council's Duty Building Officer.
