- This map is an extract from Map 1 of SEPP (Mining, Petroleum Production and Extractive Industries) 2007. The map is intended to assist in identifying the locations within the Lake Macquarie LGA where open cut mining is permissible. Clause 19 of LMLEP 2004 refers to a map marked 'Lake Macquarie Local Environmental Plan 2004 - Areas of Future Open Cut Mining Potential.' This map was superseded by Map 1 of SEPP (Mining, Petroleum Production and Extractive Industries) 2007.
