Council administers several grant and funding schemes, which enable local organisations to contribute to their communities. These are:
The Community Builders Funding Program is a community strengthening and capacity building program. It has funds available on an annual basis for time-limited projects in particular regions of NSW including the Hunter. The program is funded by the NSW Department of Community Services, however Council officers provide advice, support, and professional guidance to potential applicants.
